The Persian Gulf region is of particular importance to Iran due to its strategic location and geopolitical importance. At the same time, hostile media have created serious challenges for the country in the external dimension by presenting a negative image of Iran. This research aims to examine the role of cultural diplomacy in enhancing Iran's position in the eyes of public opinion in the Persian Gulf region. The theoretical framework of the research is based on the constructivist theory and focuses on the concept of soft power and the role of identity and culture in international relations. This study was conducted using a qualitative method and an analytical-descriptive approach, and the data were collected through documentary study and review of reliable scientific sources and examined using content analysis and comparative analysis. The research findings show that recent regional developments, especially the Iran-Saudi Arabia agreement in 2023, have provided a new space for Iran's cultural diplomacy. Also, the results indicate that the expansion of cyberspace and changing cultural consumption patterns in the region require a redefinition of traditional approaches to cultural diplomacy. This research shows that the success of Iran's cultural diplomacy in the Persian Gulf region requires a deep understanding of new regional developments, attention to the role of cyberspace, and a focus on the cultural needs of the younger generation.
