Abstract
Cultural diplomacy has a direct relationship with “good Islamic governance”; because with the spread of culture and culture-based industries as well as with the development of interactions and relations with different countries, it becomes the basis and catalyst for economic prosperity. “Good governance” and “good Islamic governance”, also, seek to respect people's rights and gain their satisfaction in various fields. The result of this interaction is the provision of people's satisfaction in various fields and the fulfillment of the desired components of Islamic governance. Moreover, cultural diplomacy in the framework of Islamic governance can represent the components of Islamic culture in all around the world and prevent the spread of phobias such as Islamophobia and Shia phobia. This article in the framework of Hofstede's theory about cultural diversity and using the method of documentary, scrutinizes the relationship between cultural diplomacy and good Islamic governance as well as various functions of cultural diplomacy in good Islamic governance. As a result, cultural diplomacy and “good Islamic governance” have a close relationship with each other. This means that cultural diplomacy is one of the requirements to achieve good governance and good Islamic governance.
