Abstract
The October 7th incident and the six-month war against the Gaza Strip are considered to be one of the most important recent events of the Middle East that represented in the world media. The Italian press, in accordance with the discourse it has followed or with the aim of strengthening the considered discourse, has put the representation of news and developments related to it on its agenda. The analysis of such an effort in the matter of representation, in addition to being able to narrate the nodal points of the discourses of the parties to the conflict and the most important turning points of these relations through the lens of the representation of the War, is able to compare the relations among Italy and national, regional and extra-regional units such as Islamic Republic of Iran, Turkey, The United States, also the militias based in Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon, as well as the United Nations.
The results show that the right-wing in Italy and Europe, in some cases different from the United States strategies, has sought specific interests in the Middle East and aligned with actors such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia, rather than considering human rights aims, without real conflict resolution, seeking some kind of the artificial stability in the region to guarantee the security and commercial interests of Italy and Europe.
